對于Flash Player，大家即將要跟它說再見了，因為Adobe已經(jīng)表示，要在2021年1月12日對其進行終結(jié)。

按照官方的說法，繼6月初宣布的變動之后，該公司已在昨日發(fā)布的最終更新中大幅上調(diào)了相關(guān)措辭的嚴(yán)肅程度，以鼓勵人們在2020年底前卸載Flash Player 。

According to the official statement, following the changes announced in early June, the company has substantially increased the seriousness of the relevant wording in the final update released yesterday to encourage people to uninstall Flash Player before the end of 2020.

回顧Flash Player的EOL，Adobe其實早在2017年 7 月就攜手蘋果、谷歌、微軟、Mozilla和Facebook，一致同意從其產(chǎn)品中逐步淘汰基于Flash的內(nèi)容和相關(guān)技術(shù)。

Looking back at the EOL of Flash Player, Adobe actually joined hands with Apple, Google, Microsoft, Mozilla, and Facebook as early as July 2017 and agreed to phase out Flash-based content and related technologies from its products.

自2017年最初宣布以來，隨著時間的推移，F(xiàn)lash在不同瀏覽器中被放棄的消息越來越多地傳出。微軟在去年宣布計劃從所有的瀏覽器中移除Flash（Windows 10中也進行了相應(yīng)的屏蔽），蘋果也宣布將在2020年早些時候從Safari中移除Flash。

Since the initial announcement in 2017, over time, news of Flash being abandoned in different browsers has spread more and more. Microsoft announced last year that it plans to remove Flash from all browsers (which is also blocked in Windows 10), and Apple also announced that it will remove Flash from Safari in early 2020.

多年來，F(xiàn)lash因其缺乏安全性和性能低下而成為各路技術(shù)人員批評的對象，特別是隨著HTML5的出現(xiàn)，瀏覽器制造商已經(jīng)開始廢棄對該技術(shù)的支持。

Adobe現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)開始在仍在使用Flash Player的Windows PC上顯示彈出通知：“感謝您使用Adobe Flash Player。為了幫助保護您的系統(tǒng)安全，Adobe將從2021年1月12日開始阻止Flash內(nèi)容在Flash層中運行。Adobe強烈建議立即通過點擊卸載按鈕將Flash Player從系統(tǒng)中刪除。” Adobe has now begun to display a pop-up notification on Windows PCs that are still using Flash Player: "Thank you for using Adobe Flash Player. To help protect your system, Adobe will block Flash content on the Flash layer starting on January 12, 2021.
