印度發(fā)現(xiàn)的變異新冠病毒擴(kuò)散至40多個(gè)國家和地區(qū)

The mutated new coronavirus found in India has spread to more than 40 countries and regions

 

世界衛(wèi)生組織12日說，加速疫情在印度蔓延的一種變異新冠病毒已擴(kuò)散至40多個(gè)國家和地區(qū)。

The World Health Organization said on the 12th that a mutated new coronavirus, which has accelerated the spread of the epidemic in India, has spread to more than 40 countries and regions.

世衛(wèi)組織在全球新冠疫情周報(bào)中說，已在上傳至一個(gè)開放數(shù)據(jù)庫的4500多個(gè)樣本中檢測(cè)到去年10月在印度最早報(bào)告的變異新冠病毒B.1.617。這些樣本來自44個(gè)國家和地區(qū)，遍及世衛(wèi)組織劃分的全球6大區(qū)域。另外，世衛(wèi)組織已收到另外5個(gè)國家和地區(qū)檢測(cè)到這一變異新冠病毒的報(bào)告。

The WHO said in the global weekly report on the new crown epidemic that the mutant new crown virus B.1.617, which was first reported in India in October last year, has been detected in more than 4,500 samples uploaded to an open database. These samples come from 44 countries and regions, covering 6 major regions of the world as defined by WHO. In addition, the WHO has received reports of detection of this mutated new coronavirus in 5 other countries and regions.

周報(bào)說，英國是除印度外報(bào)告這一變異病毒感染病例最多的國家。

The weekly report said that the UK is the country outside of India that has reported the most cases of infection with this mutant virus.

According to the WHO, only 0.1% of India’s positive cases of the new coronavirus have undergone genetic sequencing and uploaded to the “Global Initiative for Influenza Data Sharing” platform, an international shared genetic sequence resource, to determine the virus strain. As of the end of April, mutant viruses B.1.617.1 and B.1.617.2 accounted for 21% and 7% of all sequencing samples in India, respectively. In addition, other more infectious mutated viruses, including those found in the UK, are also spreading in India.

報(bào)告認(rèn)為，印度疫情反彈存在多個(gè)潛在因素，例如變異病毒蔓延，多個(gè)大型集會(huì)加速病毒傳播，公共衛(wèi)生措施不足且落實(shí)不到位等。

The report believes that there are many potential factors for the rebound of the epidemic in India, such as the spread of mutant viruses, multiple large-scale gatherings to accelerate the spread f the virus, insufficient public health measures and inadequate implementation.

印度衛(wèi)生部11日公布的數(shù)據(jù)顯示，印度單日新增新冠確診病例329942例，累計(jì)確診22992517例，僅次于美國；新增死亡病例3876例，累計(jì)死亡249992例。據(jù)法新社報(bào)道，由于印度連續(xù)多日單日新增病例超過30萬例、單日新增死亡病例將近4000例，不少地區(qū)病床、氧氣等醫(yī)療資源緊張。
